Peter Pan:

  • “All children, except one, grow up.”
  • the beginning of the story is kinda similar to Harry Potter (i mean, they’re both just soooo good)
  • also, reading a story written ~100 years ago and trying to visualize it is such a surreal experience, because I don’t have the period-authentic imagery stored and readily available in my mind. Like, when I read “perambulatory”, I might imagine a modern-day pram, or a pram that I saw once in a children’s book once upon a time. But maybe… every reader sees different things, and so one story is many different unique ones for just as many different and unique people! Hmm…
